As the political environment becomes more hostile to transgender youth, what are our ethical obligations to our trans clients?

Note from Kimberly:
In light of the state of the world, the CEU that I will be presenting this week will not be the same CEU I presented in 2024.
This CEU will discuss how professional ethics aren't enough to weather this moment.
We will be reflecting on some of the great ethical challenges of our times, and the philosophical and ethical ideas that emerged as a response. We will then discuss some possible applications for practice.
Given that we're talking about ethical challenges, those challenges will be discussed in plain language. This will not be an easy listen, especially if you have to jump back into work. More details will be provided after registration.
This CEU will not have slides. These topics deserve a seriousness that the slides would undercut. I'd suggest bringing something to work on, like a coloring book or puzzle, while listening.

While there is no penalty for missing a free CEU, we ask that you do not sign up for sessions you are not planning on attending.
We use registration counts to determine when to close the class to new sign ups (and offer a new section instead).
